Program

In the first session (March 15th to 16th), we invite participants to present how acoustic imaging is used to answer scientific and management questions, and discuss the limitations and solutions. The keynote speakers Dr. Kevin Boswell (Florida International University, US), Dr. Juha Lilja (Natural Resources Institute Finland, Finland), and Carl Pfisterer (Alaska Department of Fish and Game, US) will be in Rennes sharing their experience and knowledge. The first session is a hybrid event (in-person and virtual live-streaming), to ensure a wide international audience. The second session (March 17th, in-person only) will focus on automated analysis methods developed by the scientific community. Research groups will be presenting their methods, comparing different approaches, and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of in different situations and datasets.
